* Assistant Engineer (Mechanical) : 05 posts (WBSEDCL-12), Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

* Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 16 posts (WBSEDCL-9, WBSETCL-7), Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

* Assistant Engineer (IT /Computer Science) : 02 posts (WBSEDCL-2), Pay Scale : Rs.15600 - 39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

* Assistant Manager (Finance Accounts) : 10 posts (WBSEDCL-10), Pay Scale : Rs.15600 - 39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

* Assistant Manager (HR & Administration) : 06 posts (WBSEDCL-6), Pay Scale : Rs.15600 - 39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

* Assistant Manager (Stores) : 03 posts (WBSEDCL-3), Pay Scale : Rs.15600-39100 Grade Pay Rs.5400/-

* Sub Assistant Engineer (Electrical) : 117 posts (WBSEDCL-99, WBSETCL-18), Pay Scale : Rs.6300-20200 Grade Pay Rs.4400/- (initial pay Rs.9000/-)

* Sub Assistant Engineer (Civil) : 30 posts (WBSEDCL-29, WBSETCL-11), Pay Scale : Rs.6300 - 20200 Grade Pay Rs.4400/- (initial pay Rs.9000/-)

Age limit : 27 years as on 01.01.2010. Age is relaxable by 5 years in case of SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.


Reservation : Reservation of post for SC/ST/OBC/Physically handicapped candidates will be as per govt. rules in force.

Application Fee : DD of Rs. 400/- (Rs.300/- for Sub Assistant Engineer posts) drawn in favor of West Bengal StateElectricity Distribution Company Ltd payable at Kolkata only. No fee from SC/ST candidates.
